Other places of interest within the immediate area are Arnside, Silverdale and the Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve. Leighton Hall, Carnforth, Heysham Village (St. Patricks Chapel and the stone graves dating back to 640AD), as well as Heysham Power Station Visitors Centre can be reached by public transport.


Waterfalls  

Morecambe is within the jurisdiction of Lancaster City Council. The city is only 15 minutes away by car and less than ten minutes by train. Lancaster boasts a splendid castle, museums, and a shopping centre where you can find most of the high street stores in the pedestrianised city centre.

Morecambe has an excellent promenade and easy walking is right outside our door. There are many seating areas for you to sit and enjoy the glorious view as well as some of the most superb sunsets. The Dome and The Platform entertainment venues are just a short walk away, where you can enjoy some fine shows.
