Morecambe is within the jurisdiction of Lancaster City Council. The city is only 15 minutes away by car and less than ten minutes by train. Lancaster boasts a splendid castle, museums, and a shopping centre where you can find most of the high street stores in the pedestrianised city centre.

The Dome and The Platform entertainment venues are just a short walk away, where you can enjoy some fine shows.
